روس میں پاکستان کے نئے تعینات سفیر محمد خالد جمالی نے روسی میڈیا کو انٹرویو دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ اسلام آباد روس مخالف پابندیوں کی حمایت نہیں کرے گا، قطع نظر اس کے کہ ملک میں آنے والے عام انتخابات میں کون سی سیاسی قوت جیت جاتی ہے۔

پاکستانی سفارت کار نے میڈیا کے ایک متعلقہ سوال کا مثبت جواب دیا جس میں انہوں نے کہا کہ روس مخالف پابندیوں میں شامل ہونا پاکستان کے معاشی مفاد میں نہیں ہے کیونکہ ہماری دو طرفہ تجارت بڑھ رہی ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ اس سال روس سے پاکستان کی درآمدات میں پچھلے سال کے مقابلے میں 154 فیصد اضافہ ہوا، جو کہ ایک قابل ذکر اعداد و شمار ہے۔
