برطانیہ نے یوکرین میں فوج بھیجنے سے انکار کردیا

برطانوی وزیراعظم رشی سوناک نے اسکائی نیوز ٹی وی چینل سے بات کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ برطانیہ اپنے فوجیوں کو یوکرین نہیں بھیجے گا کیونکہ اس وقت روس اور یوکرین کے درمیان تنازع جاری ہے، لہٰذا یہ وقت مناسب نہیں جب برطانوی افواج یوکرین میں جائیں.رشی سوناک نے کہا کہ کسی بھی صورت برطانوی فوجی موجودہ تنازعہ میں لڑنے کے لیے یوکرین نہیں بھیجے جائیں گے۔ برطانوی وزیراعظم نے وضاحت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ برطانوی وزیردفاع جو کہہ رہے تھے ان کا مطلب یہ تھا کہ مستقبل میں ایک دن یہ ممکن ہو سکتا ہے کہ ہم یوکرینی فوجیوں کی تربیت یوکرین میں کریں، لیکن یہ ایک طویل مدتی چیز ہے، فلحال ابھی موجودہ حالات میں ایسا ہونا ممکن نہیں ہے.
یاد رہے اس سے قبل برطانیہ کے اعلیٰ دفاعی اہلکار گرانٹ شیپس نے ٹیلی گراف کو پہلے بتایا تھا کہ برطانیہ کی وزارت دفاع یوکرین کی سرزمین پر یوکرین کے فوجیوں اور افسران کو تربیت دینے کے لیے برطانوی فوجیوں کو تعینات کرنے کے امکان پر غور کر رہی ہے. تاہم اب برطانوی وزیراعظم نے اس امکان کو فوری مسترد کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ برطانیہ موجودہ حالات میں اپنی فوج یوکرین ہرگز نہیں بھیج سکتا.
