افغانستان سے متعلق سلامتی کونسل کے سیکرٹریز کا چھٹا سالانہ اجلاس کرغزستان کے دارالحکومت بشکیک میں شروع ہو گیا ہے۔ روس کے وفد کی قیادت سلامتی کونسل کے سیکرٹری نکولے پیٹروشیف کر رہے ہیں۔ چین، بھارت، ایران، قازقستان، کرغزستان، تاجکستان اور ازبکستان کے سیکورٹی حکام بھی اس تقریب میں حصہ لے رہے ہیں۔ یاد رہے اس سلسلے میں پچھلی میٹنگ فروری ٢٠٢٣ میں ماسکو میں ہوئی تھی۔ یہ اجلاس افغانستان کے ساتھ بین الاقوامی سطح پر روابط کو مزید مربوط اور منظم انداز میں زیرِ بحث لانے کے لیے بلایا جا رہا ہے۔ پاکستان اس میں شرکت نہیں کرے گا اور نا اس اجلاس کا حصہ ہو گا۔

یہ اجلاس خصوصاً افغانستان کے پڑوسیوں کے ساتھ مل کر افغانستان میں دیرپا امن اور خوشحالی کے مشترکہ مقصد کے لیے کام کرے گا۔ مبصرین کا کہنا ہے کہ اس اجلاس میں افغانستان کی سرزمین دیگر ممالک کے خلاف استعمال نہ ہونے کی یقین دہانیوں پر عمل درآمد کروائے گا.
