سی پیک نے پاکستان میں بجلی کی قلت کو کم کیا, وزارت توانائی

اسلام آباد (صداۓ روس)

پاکستان کی وزارت توانائی نے کہا کہ چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری (CPEC) کے توانائی کے منصوبوں نے بجلی کی قلت کو کم کرنا شروع کر دیا ہے.

تفصیلات جاری کرتے ہوئے، وزارت نے بتایا کہ 2013 سے 2018 تک قومی گرڈ سسٹم میں 11،650 میگاواٹ بجلی شامل کی گئی.

اس نے مزید کہا کہ مذکورہ مدت کے دوران سسٹم میں تقریباً 3،000 میگاواٹ صاف توانائی شامل کی گئی تھی.

وزارت نے بتایا کہ کل 3،000 میگاواٹ، 1،350 میگاواٹ ہائیڈل اور 1،400 میگاواٹ ہوا اور شمسی توانائی کو سسٹم میں شامل کیا گیا ہے.

اس عرصے کے دوران ملک میں پہلی بار مقامی تھر کول پر مبنی منصوبوں پر کام شروع کیا گیا. وزارت نے وضاحت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سی پی ای سی کے تحت تھر کول بجلی پیدا کرنے کے منصوبے شروع کیے گئے تھے.

جاری بیان میں کہا گیا کہ 660 میگاواٹ تھر کول پاور پروجیکٹ پہلے ہی سستی بجلی فراہم کر چکا ہے. 884 میگاواٹ کے سککی کناری ہائیڈل پروجیکٹ پر کام 2018 میں شروع کیا گیا تھا جس کی پیداوار 2024 تک شروع ہو جائے گی.

اسی طرح، 720 میگاواٹ کیرٹ کو 2017 میں لانچ کیا گیا تھا اور یہ اس جولائی میں نیشنل گرڈ کو بجلی کی فراہمی شروع کر دے گا.
