ماسکو (صدائے روس) روسی صدر ولادیمیر پوتن متحدہ عرب امارات (یو اے ای) کے صدر محمد بن زید النہیان سے بات چیت کے لیے ابوظہبی پہنچ گئے۔ روسی رہنما کا سرکاری استقبالیہ تقریب قصر الوطن محل (پیلیس آف دی نیشن) میں منعقد ہوئی۔ پیوٹن ایک گھڑسوار دستے کے ساتھ محل کے مرکزی دروازے پر پہنچے۔ محمد بن زید کے ساتھ وہ استقبالیہ ہال میں گئے۔ دونوں ممالک کے ترانے بجائے گئے جس کے بعد صدور نے مشترکہ تصاویر کے لیے گارڈ آف آنر کے ساتھ واک کیا۔ تقریب میں روس اور متحدہ عرب امارات کے وفود بھی موجود تھے۔
بعد ازاں پیوٹن اور متحدہ عرب امارات کے صدر نے مذاکرات کا آغاز کیا۔ ملاقات وفود کی شرکت سے ہوگی جس کے بعد رہنما آمنے سامنے بات کریں گے۔ جیسا کہ روسی ریاست کے سربراہ کے معاون یوری یوشاکوف نے پہلے کہا تھا، ایجنڈے میں دوطرفہ تعاون کے مسائل کے ساتھ ساتھ یوکرین اور فلسطین اسرائیل تصفیہ کے موضوعات بھی شامل ہوں گے۔
