الجزیرہ کے حوالے سے خبر دی ہے کہ امریکی اخبار واشنگٹن پوسٹ نے اپنی ایک رپورٹ میں انکشاف کیا ہے کہ غزہ کی پٹی پر جارحیت کے پہلے ٤٥ دنوں میں اسرائیلی حکومت نے اس علاقے کے نہتے عوام پر واشنگٹن کے فراہم کردہ ٢٢ ہزار سے زائد بم گرائے۔ مذکورہ اخبار نے اپنی رپورٹ میں مزید لکھا ہے کہ غزہ کی جنگ میں امریکی ہتھیاروں کا مرکزی کردار ہے اور کانگریس کو اسرائیل کو فراہم کیے جانے والے امریکی ہتھیاروں کی مقدار سے آگاہ کر دیا گیا ہے۔ مذکورہ امریکی اخبار نے امریکی حکام کے حوالے سے اعتراف کیا ہے کہ واشنگٹن نے اسرائیل کے جنگی قوانین کی پاسداری کا بروقت اور مناسب اندازہ نہیں لگایا۔

واشنگٹن پوسٹ کی رپورٹ کے مطابق اسرائیلی داخلی سلامتی کے مشیر نے سرکاری ٹی وی چینل 12 کو انٹرویو دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ بائیڈن حکومت نے غزہ جنگ کے خاتمے کے لیے اسرائیلی فوج کے لیے کوئی ڈیڈ لائن مقرر نہیں کی ہے۔ دوسری طرف عبرانی اخبار معاریو نے بھی اسرائیلی حکومت کے وزیر توانائی کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے لکھا ہے کہ غزہ کی پٹی میں فوجی آپریشن کی کوئی مدت مقرر نہیں ہے اور اسرائیلی فوج کو اپنے مقاصد کے حصول کے لیے کافی وقت دیا جانا چاہیے۔
