متحدہ عرب امارات (یو اے ای) نے نئے سال کے موقع پر وہاں کے لوگوں کے لیے ایک بڑی خوشخبری سنائی ہے۔ شارجہ نے امارات میں سرکاری شعبے کے لیے نئے سال کی تعطیلات کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ اس کا مطلب ہے کہ اب وہاں نئے سال پر سرکاری چھٹی رہے گی۔ ہیومن ریسورس ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے اعلان کیا کہ یکم جنوری ٢٠٢٤ کو شارجہ میں سبھی سرکاری محکموں، یونٹوں اور اداروں کے لئے نئے سال کی سرکاری تعطیل ہوگی۔ منگل ٢ جنوری ٢٠٢٤ سے سرکاری کام کاج کا دن دوبارہ شروع ہوگا ۔ اس طرح دیکھا جائے تو ٢٠٢٣ کے آخری ویک اینڈ میں امارات میں سرکاری ملازمین کے لئے چار دنوں کی چھٹی ہے۔ اس سے پہلے پچھلے ہفتہ وفاقی حکومت اور وزارت برائے انسانی وسائل اور امارات نے اعلان کیا تھا کہ یکم جنوری کو سرکاری اور نجی دونوں شعبے کے ملازمین کے لئے چھٹی ہوگی۔ اس کا مطلب ہے کہ ملک کے بیشتر لوگوں کیلئے تین دن کا ویک اینڈ ہے۔
