روسی وزارت خارجہ کی ترجمان ماریا زاخارووا نے کہا کہ برطانیہ کھلے عام یوکرین کو روسی سرزمین میں گہرائی میں اہداف پر حملہ کرنے کے لیے دباؤ ڈال رہا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ١٩ فروری کو ہمیں معلوم ہوا کہ روسی افواج نے برطانیہ کے ڈیزائن کردہ بنشی جیٹ ٨٠+ ڈرون کو ڈونیٹسک پیپلز ریپبلک کے نوواازوسک کے قریب مار گرایا۔ لندن کھلے عام یوکرائنی نو نازیوں کو روسی علاقے میں اندر تک موجود تنصیبات پر حملہ کرنے کے لیے دباؤ ڈال رہا ہے۔ تاہم ان کے منصوبے ناکام ہو جائیں گے۔ روسی سفارت کار نے کہا کہ ہماری مسلح افواج مناسب جواب دیں گی۔

زاخارووا نے برطانیہ کی وزارت دفاع کے بیانات کا اعادہ کیا کہ لندن اور ریگا ڈرون اتحاد کی قیادت کریں گے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ایسا لگتا ہے کہ لندن تنازعہ کو مزید بڑھانے کا انتظار نہیں کرسکتا.
