آذربائیجان کے صدر الہام علیئیف نے آذربائیجانی دارالحکومت کے دورے پر آئے ہوئے روسی وزیراعظم میخائل میشوسٹن کے ساتھ ملاقات کے دوران کہا کہ باکو -ماسکو تعلقات نمایاں طور پر بلندی پر پہنچ گئے ہیں۔ علییف نے کہا کہ ہم نے تمام اچھی روایات کو برقرار رکھا جو کئی دہائیوں سے ہمارے لوگوں کو متحد کر رہی ہیں، آزادانہ طور پر اس سماجی-سیاسی جہت سے جس کے اندر ہم بات چیت کرتے تھے۔ ہمارے دوستانہ تعلقات ہمیشہ بین الریاستی تعلقات کی بنیاد رہے ہیں۔ صدر الہام علیئیف کے مطابق آج تک دونوں ممالک کے تعلقات اپنی شکل اور مواد دونوں میں ایک نئی سطح پر پہنچ چکے ہیں، لہٰذا ہمارے عوام بھی اس عمل کی حمایت کرتے ہیں۔

انہوں نے یقین دہانی کروائی کہ رواں سال بھی دوطرفہ تعلقات کے لیے ٢٠٢٣ کی طرح اہم نتائج لائے گا۔ آذربائیجانی رہنما نے زور دے کر کہا کہ ہمارے ہم آہنگ تعامل ہمارے ممالک اور عوام کے لیے مضبوط ہوں گے۔ یہ علاقائی استحکام اور سلامتی کے لیے بھی شرط ہے۔
