ایران کے وزیر خارجہ نے کہا کہ ایران دنیا کی سب سے بڑی بے گھر آبادی کو پناہ دیتا ہے۔ تسنیم خبررساں ایجنسی کی رپورٹ کے مطابق، ایران کے وزیر خارجہ حسین امیرعبداللہیان نے جنیوا میں پناہ گزینوں کے عالمی فورم کے اجلاس سے خطاب میں اس بات کی طرف اشارہ کرتے ہوئے کہ اس فورم کا ایک مقصد عالمی عملی یکجہتی کو مضبوط کرنا ہے کہا کہ کسی بھی عارضی راہ حل کے ذریعہ مہاجرین کے مسئلے کو مستقل طور پر حل نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔

ایران کے وزیر خارجہ نے کہا کہ ایران نے پینتالیس سال سے زائد عرصے سے پناہ گزینوں کی میزبانی کر رہا ہے اور سنہ ٢٠٢١ میں افغانستان میں ہونے والے تغیرات کے بعد، وہ دنیا کی سب سے بڑی بے گھر آبادی کا میزبان ہے۔

ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ضروری ہے کہ ہائی کمشنر برائے پناہ گزینان اور عالمی برادری پناہ گزینوں کی وطن واپسی کو آسان بنانے کے لیے بھر پور کوشش کریں۔

ایرانی وزیر خارجہ نے کہا کہ اسلامی جمہوریہ ایران نے دنیا کی سب سے بڑی بے گھر آبادی کی میزبانی کرتے ہوئے، امریکہ اور اس کے اتحادیوں کی غیر ذمہ دارانہ پالیسیوں اور فوجی مداخلتوں کے نتیجے میں مسلط کردہ بوجھ کو اپنے کندھوں پر اٹھایا ہے۔
