روسی وزارت خارجہ کی ترجمان ماریا زاخارووا نے ایک بریفنگ کے دوران کہا کہ آرمینیا اپنے آپ سے مذاق کر رہا ہے اگر وہ یہ سمجھتا ہے کہ یورپی یونین کے ساتھ تعلقات سے کوئی فائدہ ہوگا، کیونکہ اجتماعی مغرب اسے ہر کسی کی طرح اپنے انگوٹھے کے نیچے رکھنے جا رہا ہے اور اس کا استعمال کرے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ آرمینیا کے لوگوں کے لیے جو کچھ بھی فائدہ مند ہو، اس کا خیر مقدم کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ جاری بیان میں کہا گیا کہ اہم بات یہ ہے کہ یورپی یونین کے نعروں کی بھیڑ کی کھال کے نیچے، ایک بڑے دانتوں والا خونخوار بھیڑیا ہمیشہ کی طرح چھپا ہو سکتا ہے۔ یہی مسئلہ ہے، کہ مغربی ممالک اس آڑ میں داخلی زندگی اور اقتصادیات میں کیسے گھس جاتے ہیں۔ ان قوموں کے منصوبے جنہوں نے ترقی پذیر ممالک کے طور پر جمہوری راہداری میں رہتے ہوئے اپنی ترقی کا آغاز کیا ہے ان کے لئے یہ ایک بڑا خطرہ ہے۔

روسی سفارت کار نے مزید کہا کہ کسی کا آرمینیا سے بات کرنے کا کوئی ارادہ نہیں ہے کہ وہ اپنے لوگوں کے لیے کیا بہتر سمجھے؟
