نجی ٹی وی جیو نیوز کے مطابق مہندر سنگھ دھونی جن کا شمار دنیا کے بہترین وکٹ کیپرز اور کپتانوں میں کیا جاتا ہے انہوں نے ایک بار پھر کرکٹ کے میدان میں اپنا لوہا منوالیا ہے۔دھونی ٹی ٹوئنٹی میں وکٹوں کے پیچھے 300 شکار کرنے والے دنیا کے پہلے وکٹ کیپر بن گئے ہیں۔

انہوں نے یہ کارنامہ اتوار کو آئی پی ایل میں چنئی سپر کنگز کی نمائندگی کرتے ہوئے دہلی کیپٹلز کے پرتھوی شا کا کیچ پکڑ کر سر انجام دیا۔دھونی نے 367 ٹی ٹوئنٹی اننگز میں 300 شکار مکمل کیے ۔ اس فہرست میں دوسرا نمبر پاکستان کے سابق وکٹ کیپر کامران اکمل کا ہے ، جنہوں نے 281 اننگز میں 274 شکار کیے۔

واضح رہے کہ گزشتہ دنوں آئی پی ایل 2024 کا سیزن شروع ہونے سے قبل چنئی سپر کنگز کو مجموعی طور پر 7 بار ٹرافی جتوانے والے کپتان مہندر سنگھ دھونی ٹیم کی کپتانی سے دستبردار ہوگئے تھے۔ دھونی نے ٹیم کی کپتانی رتوراج گیکواڈ کو سونپ دی تھی۔
