روسی سلامتی کونسل کے نائب سربراہ دیمتری میدویدیف نے کہا کہ جاپان یوکرین کو فوجی امداد فراہم کر کے روس کے ساتھ تصادم کی راہ ہموار کرتا جا رہا ہے۔ میدویدیف نے اپنے یوزنوسخالنسک کے دورے کے دوران کہا کہ یہ بہت بری بات ہے کہ روس کے قریب میں واقع ملک جاپان تیزی سے کیف حکومت کو فوجی امداد فراہم کر رہا ہے اور خود کو فوجی تصادم کی طرف لے جا رہا ہے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ روس نازی ازم کے خلاف جنگ جاری رکھے ہوئے ہے، جس نے افسوس کے ساتھ اب یوکرین میں اپنا سر اٹھایا ہے.

روسی عہدیدار کا کہنا تھا کہ روس یوکرین میں اپنی سلامتی کی جنگ لڑرہا ہے. روسی سلامتی کونسل کے نائب چیئرمین دیمتری میدویدیف نے عسکریت پسندی جاپان پر فتح کے دن اور 3 ستمبر کو منائی جانے والی دوسری عالمی جنگ کے خاتمے کے موقع پر تقریب میں کہا کہ 1945 میں جاپان کے خلاف جوہری ہتھیاروں کے بغیر فوجی ضرورت کے استعمال نے امریکہ کا اصل چہرہ بے نقاب کر دیا تھا. ان کا کہنا تھا کہ جاپان کو جنگ عظیم دوئم کے نتائج کو فراموش نہیں کرنا چاہئے.
